Celebrating International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity, according to the International Women’s day website. At Alice Heiman LLC, this day is especially treasured since we are a woman-run business. Alice Heiman LLC celebrates by participating in events and taking the opportunity to recognize the women who came before us and those who continuously pave the way for others.  

Recognizing Female Entrepreneurs Leading the Way

Our founder, Alice Heiman, has always felt a passion and responsibility to uplift others, especially women in sales. Badger, a company that provides a mapping and routing app for sales, recently published an article featuring Heiman called, “25 Top Sales Tips from Powerful Women Leaders”. The article showcases 25 women leaders in the sales who provide great insight. 

Additionally, Heiman was featured in a blog post from Nimble titled, “56 Inspirational Women Leaders in Business to Connect With” highlighting female business leaders. “I’m honored to be showcased alongside such a powerful group of female leaders,” remarked Heiman.  

On Monday, March 8th, International Women’s Day, Heiman kicked off the International Women’s Entrepreneurship Symposium hosted by The University of Nevada, Reno. She spoke on driving sales growth alongside other inspiring female entrepreneurs to focus on the need for a global community for entrepreneurial women. The conference was virtual and was able to provide networking opportunities, break-out groups, and seminars from world-class speakers. Connecting with female leaders and finding ways to lift each other is a passion for Heiman.
